Describe your prior experience working in the nonprofit/ government/ public service fields.
Prior to coming to NOPEC, I worked for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District as an HR Executive Assistant, where I led weekly Toastmasters meetings, taught Microsoft classes, answered employee inquiries, and aided with employee engagement and performance management initiatives. I also spent four years working for the City of Pepper Pike, where I planned special events, wrote grant packages, and helped revamp the city's park with a new playground, ADA-accessible seating, and outdoor fireplace. During my tenure with the City of Pepper Pike, I successfully secured close to half a million dollars in grant funding to benefit the local community.
My career in public service began with the City of Richmond Heights, where I served as a Special Projects Secretary to the Mayor. In that role, I assisted with event planning, economic development, crafting resident correspondence, and drafting annual reports. I am thankful that my longstanding public service has given me numerous opportunities to make a difference in our region.

I wanted to apply my talents at an organization that makes continuous positive impact, while serving in a role that is highly interactive and people-interfacing. Describe your role at NOPEC and how you hope to help NOPEC communities in the future.
As a Relationship Manager, my role is to serve as a liaison between those we serve and the organization. As a seasoned public speaker and freelance journalist, I understand the importance of accurate, timely, and effective communication. It will be my ongoing goal to deliver excellent service through integrity, transparency, and an unwavering dedication to do what is best for the people we serve. I will work to support existing programs and contribute innovative ideas to propel us into a successful and sustainable future.
What do you do enjoy doing in your free time?
I have a plethora of hobbies, including hiking, salsa dancing, attending live concerts and theatre productions, and engaging in social activities. I occasionally play djembe drum as part of community drum circles, and I also enjoy singing karaoke. By engaging in new experiences, I aim to learn new skills, discover new hobbies, and keep an open and engaged mind.
