The energy markets can be confusing, and making decisions about one’s energy can seem overwhelming and frustrating. That’s why NOPEC focuses on providing educational resources online and in person to share valuable information, answer some of the most frequent questions energy consumers have, and providing educational resources about NOPEC and other energy-related topics. We even have an energy-savings center to help you learn new ways to reduce your energy usage and save even more.
ENERGY SAVINGS CENTER
NOPEC’s Energy Savings Center is your destination for energy-saving tips to use throughout your home. Plus, you can even sign up to receive home maintenance reminders and a monthly email newsletter with even more tips and resources. All to help you reduce your energy usage and save on your energy bills.
REGIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
Through partnering with regional organizations like the Cleveland Metroparks, Great Lakes Science Center, Lake County Captains, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the Cleveland Monsters, NOPEC has continued to expand our visibility and gain opportunities to engage with residents of all ages. NOPEC’s Community Outreach team participates in many of the events hosted through our partnerships, engaging with residents, providing educational resources, and giving demonstrations that include hands-on learning activities.

ENERGY EDUCATION FOR OHIO STUDENTS
NOPEC has partnered with Ohio Energy Project (OEP) since 2016 to help energize in-person and virtual classrooms with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Design Challenges meant to spark curiosity about energy and promote creative problem solving and critical thinking. Over 10,000 Ohio students have been able to participate in STEM programs focused on energy through this partnership.
NOPEC ENERGY EXPLORERS PROGRAM
Through the NOPEC Energy Explorers program, we work with local libraries to provide age-appropriate energy reading materials and activity books for young learners. NOPEC’s community outreach team also leads energy education sessions with hands-on learning activities like the NOPEC Energy Bike.
